Well, Spec Computer from Japan has come up with a solution. Called Scaloupe, all you have to do is plug this special USB camera into your PC and start taking pictures of your scalp. What sets it apart from your regular webcam, you ask? Well, firstly it comes with a light source for you to illuminate your head while you’re taking a photograph of it, and its camera has been designed to take close-up photographs. It comes with software for you to look at the close up pictures it takes. While these photographs aren’t good enough to provide a certified medical diagnosis, it works well enough for you to tell if your hair-growth formula is working or not.
