Samsung wants you to have a reliable upgrade experience on your Galaxy S

Getting the Android 2.2 Froyo update on the Samsung Galaxy has been a sore point to many owners of the phone out there and some are even wondering if it will ever arrive. Now Samsung has posted a tweet in hope to appease its customers, promising that they’re working on it and hope to make it as smooth as possible. Of course, we’ve heard such promises in the past before, so we wouldn’t blame you if you if you took it with a grain of salt. To further compound the issue, the hacking community has had Android 2.2 Froyo running on the Galaxy S for some time now, so it’s not like they’re trying to break new ground or something. Considering that we’re already in 2011, hopefully the update will be arriving sooner rather than later.
