Palindrome time! The North American International Auto Show in Detroit sees Porsche unveil their spanking new 918 RSR hybrid racecar, which is capable of churning out more than two thirds the horses of the stock Bugatti Veyron, hitting a peak performance of 767 horses underneath the hood. This two-seater mid-engine coupé is the result of fitting in the engine of a 911 GT3 R hybrid and the design of the 918 Spyder, resulting in a modern and innovative super sports car. Electric motors located in the front two axels will provide 75 kilowatts of energy each, and whenever the front wheels brake, it will trigger the motors to operate as generators. A single push of this button allows the driver to extract this stored energy to supply another 150 kilowatts, peaking at 767-hp for eight-second bursts when fully charged. There is no word of a release date just yet, but Porsche has publicly mentioned that they have every intention to release this concept car as reality. The next question we have is this – Porsche, how much will you charge for this sweet ride?
