Considering that many units of Google’s Cr-48 Chrome notebook were handed out to developers out there to test drive the Chrome OS, it was inevitable that this would happen. We’re talking about reports that users have managed to get OS X and Windows 7 installed on the notebook. According to the folks who have done it, OS X seemed to perform a little sluggishly on the notebook, though most of the hardware was supported out of the box, including the multi-touch trackpad. When Windows was installed, the 3G modem didn’t seem to work properly and you’re left with 2GB of disk space after installing both Windows and OS X. In the end, it was suggested that you’d be best off running Chrome OS on the notebook, since that was what it was designed for, but there aren’t any surprises there. You can check out a video of it in action after the jump.
