[CES 2011] MSI is releasing an interesting all-in-one (AIO) PC equipped with Intel’s new 2nd Generation Core Processor (here, a Core i7) that also has a GeForce GT 540M graphics processor. This AIO PC has a multi-touch display that also accept video signal from an HDMI input (practical , if you want to use it with a game console or something). It supports a full HD (1080p) resolution too, so watching a Blu-Ray movie or playing the latest games in HD is definitely an option.
In addition to getting the latest processor from Intel, MSI has also included USB 3.0, an upgrade from current USB that can be up to 10X faster to transport data. USB 3.0 is finally taking off it seems. To communicate, the MSI AE2210 uses WiFi (B/G/N) but it’s not clear if it also has an Ethernet port at all. We’ll have to go and check for ourselves. There’s a final twist: the USB port can be used to charge your phone and other devices, without requiring the computer to be on. More specs in the full post.
