Those who are extremely interested in the tablet industry might be stoked to know that Motorola’s latest entry, the XOOM, will feature a barometer inside. Yeah, we know – what the heck do you need a barometer in your tablet for? After all, the XOOM isn’t one of those super tough devices that mountain climbers take on their expeditions while performing death-defying climbs, right? Well, at least it does offer a slight edge over the rest of its rivals, and it will definitely make your XOOM a more accurate predictor of local weather conditions while measuring your altitude when you’re tucked safely on the 60th floor of the office building. We will see how developers will take advantage of the barometer inside the XOOM when it hits the market later this March.
