With over a hundred tablets debuting or showcased at CES earlier this month, you can expect the good people over at the FCC to be pretty busy approving a bunch of tablets in the coming year. Here is yet another one that hails from China, thanks to Suzhou Shuanglin Plastics and Rubber Electronics – rolling out the MiPad tablet that has just picked up FCC approval for its Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Other hardware specifications include HDMI out, 3G support which hasn’t been tested by the FCC yet), an SD memory card slot, as well as a rather humorously labeled port known as “Trumpet” – do they mean a speaker? This seems to reside in the 7” display category, although there is no way to be sure just yet. If the MiPad ever makes its way Stateside, expect it to be rebranded, or expect other clones to come up with a YouPad.
