Lenovo IdeaPad G-Series lets you choose between Intel and AMD

When it comes to consumer laptops, “choice” seems to be the main focus of the Lenovo IdeaPad G-Series. With 5 models to chose from (G770, G570, G470, G575, 4575) and with sizes ranging between 14″ to 17″ there’s something for everyone. Again, Lenovo is using its RapidBoot technology to differentiate itself from the competition with a very quick boot of the operating system.

On the hardware side, buyers can opt for the very powerful Intel Core i7 processor, or the AMD Brazos fusion that consumes less power. The choice isn’t so broad in the graphics department, with AMD being the only game in town for the Lenovo G-Series. The Radeon HD 6370M is the base model, but the Lenovo G770 laptop gets “up to” a Radeon HD 6650M. All G-laptops have an optical drive (Blu-Ray, optionally), up to 8GB of RAM and up to 750GB of disk storage.
