Netflix is certainly well on its way to Android-powered devices, but there are still two questions left hanging – on what devices will they appear on, and more importantly, when? So far, we do know that someone has already spotted the LG Revolution on Verizon with said application installed, while Qualcomm does their bit to deliver even more insight as to how the other phones will receive the app – and this will supposedly based on the kind of processor that runs proceedings from within. As you know, studios providing Netflix with its content are extremely fearful of having you record its streams, so that is why Netflix refuses to stream video to a device without a secure delivery pathway. Qualcomm says that phones running on Snapdragon processors can stream Netflix simply because it is powerful enough to run a very sophisticated SecureMSM and all kinds of layers of security.
