We’ve seen the PSP Phone in video just a couple of days ago, and now here’s more interesting information about said smartphone – it is tipped to roll out in the market sometime next March, with Android 2.3 Gingerbread in tow. This is set to happen after it debuts at Mobile World Congress a month prior to that, at least according to ITProPortal. Having said that, you can be sure that the PSP Phone is no longer a fantasy but reality, where most folks can expect to see a 3.7-inch WVGA display, an 1GHz processor, Android 2.3 Gingerbread as mentioned and a slide-out gamepad. Could this prove to be a major boost for Sony’s bottomline in due time, and will it also change the way people look at Sony Ericsson’s brand name from then on?
