Sharing digital information with friends around a coffee table isn’t always a fun thing but Pioneer is hoping to offer something that might make it fun and productive at the same time, and we’re talking about the Discussion Table. This fancy table is due sometime next year and houses a PC powered by a Core i7 chip running Windows Embedded Standard 7. With it, users can bring their notebooks and easily share documentson the table or remote desktop right into their machines from it, sharing their documents in scalable and rotatable windows. The Discussion Table also features a single-sheet scanner on the side and also offers TransferJet, ensuring that you can easily nick information from it without the hassle of wires. Sounds like a coffee table that we’d love to have in the lounge and you can check out a video of it in action after the jump.
