The folks over at Apple might not always be thinking about iPhones and iPads as Andrew Carol, one of Apple’s software engineers, decided to recreate a working model o the Antikythera mechanism from Lego bricks. In case you aren’t familiar with it, the original machine is touted as one of the oldest known mechanical computers and is used to track astronomical positions. We’re not going to go through the full nitty gritty of how this mechanical computer is supposed to work, but if you’re curious how Lego and (really) old technology can go hand in hand, check out the video after the jump.
