Set-top boxes aren’t always impressive, but Free, a well-known ISP in France, has introduced the Freebox v6 Revolution, a fancy set-top box designed by Philippe Starck and offers you various forms of entertainment. It offers a 250GB hard drive and an internal 802.11n Wi-Fi module, Blu-ray drive, web browser, Intel’s Atom CE4100 media processor and also a motion-sensing remote. With all that, you’ll get live/streaming TV options, Internet connectivity, gaming and also at-home calling. A joystick is also included as part of the deal, along with a pair of powerline adapters to make home networking easy. The device is already up for pre-order and will set you back between EUR59.99Â ($80)Â to EUR119.99 ($161).
