FCC takes a gander at dual-screen Kno tablet

Dual displays are starting to get more mainstream, with the Game & Watch format from Nintendo all those years ago kicking things off. Of course, the Nintendo DS really made things happen, and with recent cellphones and cameras with dual displays, we now have tablets that sport a similar idea as well. Kno is back with their dual-display tablet that has just made it through the FCC’s doors, where it is tipped to hit the market come this December 20th. Both 14.1-inch LCD displays will sport a resolution of 1400 x 900 pixels, aided by an Nvidia Tegra T200 CPU and boasting the ability to hold up to 32GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and a battery life that has been rated at up to 6 hours of “normal campus” use. If you decide to bring home the 16GB version, then it will cost you $899 – otherwise the 32GB Kno is a Benjamin more expensive. Single display Knos are also available if you’re interested, with the 16GB and 32GB models going for $599 and $699, respectively.
