Coby Kyros MID7015 Android-powered tablet

The Coby Kyros MID7015 Android-powered tablet is ready to rock and roll, adding yet another option for those who are looking for an Android-powered tablet just because they are anti-iPad in some way or another. Coby isn’t a name that one would associate with high price tags, so this 7-inch model will not feature top of the line specifications, either, what with 4GB of internal memory, a microSDHC memory card slot and HDMI connectivity. It is meant more to be a device that views media and browse the web using Android 2.1, while the inclusion of HDMI connectivity enables you to connect it to a larger TV to be part of your home’s entertainment system. Pre-installed apps include an alarm clock, a calculator, a mobile YouTube browser, and the Aldiko ebook reader. The AppsLib marketplace will allow you to download new apps when required, installing them straight onto the tablet. At $172 a pop, there really isn’t much else you can ask for, but bear in mind that this is a mid-range device, so power users out there might want to shun this for something else.
