Apple Hiring Staff Who Have Experience With CDMA Technology
Is this job posting from Apple a hint that the fruity company is really gearing up to release a CDMA iPhone for Verizon? The listing calls for a full-time Cellular Systems Performance Engineer who is familiar with cellular technologies such as GSM, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, HSDPA, HSUPA and CDMA. The technology that we’re focusing on here is CDMA, of course. With 2011 just around the corner, could we be slowly inching closer to a CDMA iPhone announcement from Apple? Such a move would finally put an end to those rumors of a Verizon iPhone and make many Verizon subscribers out there quite happy at the same time.
