The Acer Aspire One 721 notebook has just received a processor upgrade quietly, with the AMD Neo K145 chip making an appearance. Some of the benefits from incorporating the AMD Neo K145 processor would be a 12W total power draw and 1MB of L2 cache, maxing out at 1.8GHz clock speed for a zippy performance. It isn’t a dual core processor, so do take note of that and not to expect way too much. Apart from the processor update, other specifications of the Acer Aspire 721 remains the same, including an 11.6-inch, 1366 x 768 resolution display, 2GB of DDR3 memory, ATI Radeon HD 4225 graphics, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a 6 cell battery, and a 1.3-megapixel camera.
