Acer has revealed their latest hand which comes in the form of the Aspire One 522, running on AMD’s Fusion platform with the C-50 APU that boasts dual 1GHz cores, and surprisingly sipping just 9W of juice in total. Apart from that, its graphical capabilities are ably supported by an integrated Radeon 6250 graphics chipset with full DirectX 11 support and UVD3 for better hardware-accelerated video. Battery life has been estimated at around 6 hours, although it really depends on what kind of processing tasks you put it through. Other hardware specifications include a 10.1-inch 1280 × 720 pixel display, HDMI and VGA out, a trio of USB ports, a webcam, and a multi-format card reader. No idea on pricing just yet, but it shouldn’t be too far off the Aspire One 255 which it mirrors closely.
