By now we more or less know that the success of a modern mobile platform is heavily dependent on the quantity and quality of the apps that it offers and in that sense, Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 has an obvious disadvantage to the already-established iOS and Android. That being said, Microsoft previously announced that it had a good 2,000 apps and 13,000 developers registered to come up with software for the platform, and just two short weeks later, the software giant is happy to tout that it now offers 3,000 apps and 15,000 registered members, showing some solid growth. With users beginning to adopt and warm up to Windows Phone 7, it’ll be interesting to see how the mobile battle begins to heat up. It’s good to see that Windows Phone 7 is drawing a significant number of mobile developers out there.
