According to our sister site UberPhones, the Droid 2 Global by Motorola is slated for a launch on November 11 and will feature a CDMA radio for CDMA/EV-DO connections in the U.S. for Verizon’s network and also a GSM radio for GSM/HSPA voice and data while traveling abroad. Reportedly, there will be two models of the Droid 2 global–available in both the dark blue hue of the original Droid 2 and also white from the Droid 2 R2D2 special edition handset. Most notably, the launch of the Droid 2 Global pushed back Verizon’s and Motorola’s other global handset, the Droid Pro. The BlackBerry-style Droid Pro is now said to launch on November 18th for $180. The Samsung Continuum will also join Verizon Wireless’s Android lineup for a price of $200, and will feature a smaller main display than the carrier’s current Verizon Wireless Samsung Fascinate, a Galaxy S model, and have a smaller secondary screen to display ticker information just beneath the main display.
