This is very much a rumor at the moment but word is going around that Apple might be gearing up to offer the iOS 4.2 update on November 9th or November 12th. There are currently conflicting reports on the dates, with one offering a link showing an that Apple will be pushing out carrier updates November 12th, possibly the iOS 4.2 update. Still, with both dates just around the corner, we shouldn’t have to wait too long in order to find out which is right. It’s also worth mentioning that iOS 4.2 will be the first version to unify the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch features, such as multitasking, folders, enhanced mail application and Game Center.
