OCOSMOS’s OCS1 UMPC is a Windows 7-based system that will run on Intel’s Oak Trail processing platform with a single-core 1.5 GHz or 1.9 GHz CPU. The device is slated to launch by March 2011, though pricing nor exact availability were not given. Equipped with a full sliding landscape-oriented keyboard along with directional pads on either sides of the small UMPC, the OCS1 may be geared at gamers with its 400 MHz GPU with the ability to decode 720p HD videos. The device has a 5-inch display and a quoted battery life of between 5 and 10 hours, depending on the battery. There are two battery options–an extended life 24 Watt hour battery or smaller 10-15 Watt hour battery. The device is said to also feature integrated 3G mobile broadband.
