NVIDIA’s Dual-GPU GeForce GTX 595 Pictured
The first dual-chip GeForce 500 graphics card from NVIDIA has been sighted online, rumored to be the GeForce GT 595, a high-end, single-board card with two Fermi GPUs. Technical specifications are still elusive, but it’s believed that the card will have 3GB of total memory split between the two processors. The card seems to also offer three DVI outputs, possibly meaning that it could drive up to three monitors at once, instead of the two monitors that top-range NVIDIA cards support without an SLI setup. Whispers are that the card isn’t due out until 2011 and could compete directly with AMD’s Radeon HD 6990.
