Novatel’s next generation MiFi 3352 is the first mobile 3G router that will be powered by Novatel’s very own MiFi OS platform, letting you customize its functionality more than ever before. There is a web-based portal which allows you to install web widgets which can be viewed from the router, as well as running native applications which will take advantage of the local link. Out of the box, preinstalled widgets will include text messaging and geolocation-based search and weather. The router will hook up at a peak 7.2Mbps on HSPA-based 3G networks, sharing its connection with up to 5 other devices while sporting a microSDHC memory card slot and GPS navigation capability. Out in the UK via Orange, this Novatel MiFi 3352 will cost at least £49 for the router and a £15 for a contract plan which offers 1GB of data.
