LG Display has grabbed headlines yet again by unveiling their latest 37-inch panel which is touted to feature the narrowest bezel in the world, where it is targeted to see action as a public display. It seems that the gap between the panels measure from a mere 4mm left/right, with a measurement of 2.5mm for the top/bottom segments. In order to show off this new technological achievement, it will be strutted around at the FPD International Japan 2010 event in a 3 x 3, 111-inch arrangement. Hopefully we’ll see this in action at CES next year, and the narrower the bezel, the better it will look from afar (and even up close) when displaying promotional videos and such. Will 3D panels with such thin bezels be up next?
