Whenever someone comes up with a tablet device, the price is always scrutinized as pricing for Apple’s popular iPad will begin at $499. While the Kno is priced higher than that, the tablet is designed for college students and offers some benefits that the iPad doesn’t. That being said, with the 14-inch single-display model going for $599 and the dual-display model confirmed to set you back $899, it’ll be an interesting entry into the tablet scene. One of the benefits touted by the company is that the tablet could potentially save up to $1,300 in digital textbook costs, and students will be able to get away with not buying or carrying the heavier textbooks. The device is also more than just an expensive eBook reader, as it allows students to take notes, manage projects and organize their college lives. Of course, whether parents will be willing to pay such a high price for a tablet is open for debate.
