The FCC looks set to check a whole lot more tablets in the coming days ahead, and Commtiva’s N700 is the latest of such to hit the market. This 7-inch tablet will be powered by the latest Android 2.2 operating system, although by the time it hits the market, do expect Android 2.3 Gingerbread to be already available. Since it has made an appearance on the FCC, expect it to arrive Stateside in due time as well. Running on a Qualcomm MSM7227 600MHz processor, the Commtiva N700 sports 512MB RAM, a microSD memory card slot, a 3-megapixel camera, GPS navigation, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. It is already out in Europe for £300, so if you do a rough price translation, that would amount to $475 thereabouts – hopefully it remains that way to make the tablet market all the more competitive for us consumers to win in terms of price-performance ratio.
