One of the major questions regarding the upcoming BlackBerry PlayBook from RIM was its price and now RIM’s co-CEO, Jim Balsillie, has revealed in an interview that the device will be reaching the US market in Q1 of 2011 and will be priced under $500. The PlayBook was originally unveiled back in September and it’s indicated that the tablet will begin to roll out globally in Q2 of 2011. In case you missed the big news, RIM’s PlayBook will be powered by an ARM Cortex-A9 dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz and will offer a 7-inch 1024 x 600 pixel display.
