Asus sure moves pretty fast once its products are finalized. It was only a few days ago that Asus confirmed the name of its Eee Note EA800 digital notebook and now the company has announced that it’ll be available for purchase this week itself in Taiwan, priced at $230 (NT$6,999), a price that won’t burn too deep a hole in your pocket. The device, designed for taking notes, is powered by Linux and features an 8-inch 1024 x 768 pixel display and is capable of going on for 13.5-hours of continuous use. Other features include 4GB of internal memory, 2-megapixel camera, stylus input, Wi-Fi connectivity and a microSD memory card slot.
