We seem to be slowly but steadily inching closer towards the arrival of Android 2.3 Gingerbread and 3.0 Honeycomb. Both versions of the mobile operating have been spotted on Adobe’s AIR benchmark site, designed to test Adobe AIR performance on mobile devices, and both versions were running on a Nexus One. Before we go further, it’s worth mentioning that it isn’t too hard to fake these things, so you can’t really tell if it’s the real deal or not. If it’s true, the results show scores of up to 584 for Honeycomb and 301 for Gingerbread. If you’re looking for a point of reference, a Nexus One running Froyo 2.2.1 has a score of around 577. Are you looking forward to the arrival of Gingerbread and Honeycomb?
