Viliv’s ultra mobile computer known as the N5 has finally arrives on the FCC, jumping through all the flaming hoops of fire before it is ready to hit the US market. Just what does it deliver then? Well, it will be powered by an Intel Atom Z520 1.3GHz processor, 1GB RAM, a 4.8-inch LCD touchscreen display at 1024 x 600 resolution which should be enough to handle most common computing tasks. We would have liked to see a newer Atom processor, which would mean DDR3 RAM in action instead of DDR2 that the N5 comes with already. Other hardware specifications include a QWERTY keyboard and an internal 3G modem, which allows you to get connected to the Internet without having to always look out for a Wi-Fi hotspot. The VIliv N5 can be purchased from Dynamism for $649 a pop. With it passing through the FCC’s scrutiny, there is a very good chance of it arriving in the US in due time.
