Verizon Wireless announces ZTE Fivespot global hotspot availability
The good people over at Verizon Wireless have announced the availability of the ZTE Fivespot global hotspot which will be internationally compliant, as it plays nice with the CDMA 1xEV-DO Rev. A/Rev. 0: 800/1900 MHz, WCDMA/HSDPA/HSUPA: 850/1900/2100 MHz, and GSM/GPRS/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz frequencies. This device will be out from October 7th onwards (which is just three days away), where you will have to fork out $99.99 for it with a 2-year service contract – and this is after sending in a $100 mail-in rebate.
