SteelSeries seems intent to ride on the hype of EA’s Medal of Honor (MoH), and as such, the gaming peripheral company has updated some of its accessories to sport MoH branding. The new branded accessories include the Xai mouse, the 6Gv2 keyboard, a MoH version of the Shift keyboard, the QcK mousepad, along with the 5Hv2 and Spectrum 5xb headsets.
The SteelSeries 6Gv2 MoH edition keyboard features 18K-Gold plated mechanical switches and extreme anti-ghosting feature for supporting as many simultaneous key presses as there are keys on the keyboard, allowing the user to obtain more actions per minute (APM). This keyboard will be available at game launch and will set you back $99.99. The Shift MoH bundle offers an intuitive button layout, labeled keys, and the ability to fully customize and remap the entire keyboard in multiple layers. It’ll set you back $99.99 and includes the Shift base powered by the SteelSeries Engine software, not to mention the interchangeable standard QWERTY and MoH Keysets. The MoH Keyset can also be purchased separately for $24.99.
The SteelSeries Xai features a bunch of industry-leading technologies and functionality that will not only support missions, but also help to make players better and win. The QcK MoH Warrior Edition mousepad is made from a high-quality cloth with an optimized textured surface. Both accessories will be going for $89.99 and $14.99 respectively.
The SteelSeries 5Hv2 MoH edition is a PC gaming headset with optimized soundscape for gaming in a travel-friendly, hear-through design. It can be dismantled into three separate pieces and includes a signature retractable microphone. The Spectrum 5xb MoH edition is a headset for Xbox 360 owners who want an advanced soundscape with the ability to pinpoint directional sounds of footsteps and weapon fire without being drowned out by the deep bass of explosions. Both headsets will be available in early Q1 of 2011.
