Pleo Reborn goes on sale overseas

Innvo Labs CEO Derek Dotson did mention in a recent interview that its Hong Kong parent is already selling the signature robot dinosaur abroad (which went extinct a while ago), where it will be known as the Pleo Reborn. Of course, you might see it being called the Pleo RB as a shorter version of the interactive robotic dinosaur, where it will boast primary features such as a lithium-polymer battery that ought to last for two hours of non-stop use, a much tougher hide (as if you’re going to flog it for disobeying you), and an RFID “sense of smell” that allows it to interact with a range of optional accessories that it can “eat”. Looks like playing dolls has come in a different format for boys this time around. A quartet of additional touch sensors have also been thrown into the mix to accompany the temperature sensor, gravity sensor and an internal clock. Will it be a hit if it comes out in time for the frenzied holiday shopping season? Only time will tell.
