Remember the Billie Jean music video that made a rather memorable appearance all those decades ago, boasting light up floor tiles that turned on magically the moment Michael Jackson stepped on them? Well, fast forward a few decades and you have something far more advanced – we’re talking about the Onskebronn LED installation (Onskebronn stands for wishing well in Norwegian) that is located in the Hauptbahnhof train station at Berlin, Germany, until the 25th of this month. The LEDs are meant to respond in real-time to visitors’ steps, creating a rather mesmerizing piece of artwork especially during peak travel hours.
