[CEATEC 2010] In case you didn’t know vital-signs (heart-rate, others…) readers are extremely popular in Asia, the idea is that by monitoring important metrics, people would be able to avoid getting sick in the first place. Anyhow, Murata has come up with a ring design (they are not the only ones) that makes it easy to wear, when compared to other setups that involve wires and stuff like that (just look at your average gym bike). The data that is gathered can be sent in real-time to a smartphone, or any other Bluetooth devices. We’re not sure what the software offering is going to be, and this sure doesn’t look like a final product, so if you’re looking for a vital sign reader like this — hold your breath a little longer.
