Jabra has announced three new solutions at CTIA, including the new Jabra WAVE and Jabra EXTREME Bluetooth headsets. The WAVE offers the signature Jabra wearing style along with an innovative new wind-noise reduction technology and Voice Guidance. The WAVE, which is available in black and red, will be going for $69.99 exclusively at Verizon Wireless.
The Skype certified Jabra EXTREME for PC is an easy-to-use wireless headset that is guaranteed to work with Skype, and comes with a pre-paired USB adapter that automatically connects the headset to a PC and Skype software for plug-and-play goodness. It features Multiuse technology, allowing it to connect to two devices at the same time, handling both computer and mobile phone call duties. The Jabra EXTREME will set you back $99.99 and is already available at Best Buy stores nationwide.
Jabra is also getting into the app store game with the introduction of Jabra World of Apps that narrows down over 200,000 third-party hands-free apps that are available worldwide to the top apps that will work with Jabra’s products. The voice-enabled apps allow users to send text messages or even emails using their voice, review email messages, verbally update statuses on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter, and also listen to customized music stations or local traffic reports. The portal is ready to be accessed at http://apps.jabra.com.
