Honda Aircraft Company just released an update of its HondaJet advanced light jet program, announcing that ground testing is already in progress while static structural stress testing is in progress on its second conforming aircraft. Not only that, a third conforming flight test aircraft has also been confirmed, which means the HondaJet is slowly easing itself towards reality, although we’re pretty sure that it won’t sell as many cars as aircraft. The third conforming aircraft will be used mainly for flight testing of mechanical systems, and hopefully the final commercial release will be something that makes private jet ownership all the more affordable.
