Graphing calculator shoppers are in for a treat as Casio Education has just launched the PRIZM Graphing Calculator that is touted to transform how technology is used in the classroom. The PRIZM is the first in Casio’s next-generation line of graphing calculators with its high-resolution 3.7-inch color LCD display, along with various functions designed to assist with math lessons. If you’re a heavy user, you’ll be glad to hear that it’s capable of performing for 140 hours before the batteries need to be replaced. The device is already approved for use on the ACT, PSAT, SAT, and AP exams and will be available from January 2011 for $129.99. Video demonstration of the PRIZM is available after the jump.
