AT&T Announces Motorola Bravo

In addition to announcing the Flipout today, AT&T will also be getting a higher-end Motorola Android smartphone in its lineup. The Motorola Bravo will feature a 3.7-inch FWVGA touchscreen display, putting it in the same class as Motorola’s Droid and Droid 2 on rival network Verizon Wireless. The Bravo, unlike the Droid 2, will be a tablet oriented smartphone without a sliding hardware keyboard. The device will launch with Android 2.1 with MOTOBLUR 1.5. There will be 2 GB of internal storage, which can be augmented with a memory card, and AT&T so far hasn’t listed any additional specs for CPU, camera, or video resolution. It will have an FM tuner and supports the carrier’s HSDPA 7.2 Mbps and HSUPA 2.0 Mbps protocols. For additional details about the Motorola Bravo, you can visit att.com/bravo to find out more.

Additionally, the Bravo is expected to retail for $129.99 on a two-year contract and should be available by the holiday season.
