Walmart has further expanded their tentacles in terms of businesses with the Family Mobile network, a new cellphone network which will run over T-Mobile’s network considering the fact that it will deliver a handset range that is nearly identical to those offered by T-Mobile. What makes Walmart Family Mobile accounts different would be the fact that it is some sort of hybrid pre-paid and post-paid plan, requiring no credit checks for Walmart Family Mobile customers although the plans themselves are post-paid. This means you will need to fork out the dough upfront for handsets themselves, albeit with lower rates as the primary benefit. Unlimited voice and texting will cost $45 monthly, while extra lines for family members will set you back by another $25 monthly without the need for long-term contracts. The main drawback? It will be locked to T-Mobile.
