If you have nothing else better to do with your time, why not go plane hunting with the Plane Finder AR app which allows you to use augmented reality (AR) to search the skies for planes and get details such as flight number, speed, destination and other strange details of overhead planes. If you take a gander at the picture above, you’ll see the AR information displayed in a fancy manner when aimed at planes. This app works by picking up the ADS-B data from the planes, meaning that not every plane that you point your iPhone at will have its information displayed.
ADS-B has not been deployed in the U.S yet — this won’t work.
