We look forward in anticipation of T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network being made available to more than 200 million people before the year is over, which means that there should be more HSPA+ devices being prepared to hit the market – and rightly son. An FCC filing today points toward Netgear and their HSPA+ plans with the MBR1210 mobile wireless-N router hitting the FCC’s hallways. Coming with a quartet of Ethernet ports, a SIM card slot as well as what looks like an external antenna, this “mobile” router doesn’t sound too mobile as claimed, since it has a power port which strongly suggests it would be better tethered to a power outlet than anywhere else. Perhaps there is a generous internal battery within that we do not know of? There is still no word on pricing or availability, but since it has already arrived at the FCC, it should hit the streets pretty soon.
