Get your mind out of the gutter – the E-Quickie is not some sort of method to hold a quick electronic relationship, but instead is a vehicle that was constructed by students at the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences. To make it all the more special, the E-Quickie does not need any form of charging, as it is juiced by energy generated right from the road thanks to electric induction. To summarize, this is somewhat like the Powermat gadget charger, albeit one that is in motion. Nice to know it does not need to be in contact with any metallic surface to remain juiced thanks to the wonders of induction. Too bad the vehicle is rather small and won’t break and speed records at a top speed of just 31mph, we do hope that future iterations will be able to be lighter and faster while being all the more efficient.
