We don’t know about you, but to stake our lives in the air a few thousand feet from the ground on a plane that runs off solar power isn’t exactly our idea of being a daredevil. For those who think otherwise, the Cri-Cri might be just the ticket, and good thing is this – if you go down, you go down alone as the Cri-Cri seats only one. It also has a maximum flying time of 15 minutes, so you won’t be able to go too far in this (definitely not a good idea if you’re planning to use this as a getaway vehicle). Touted to be the smallest electric airplane in the world, this engineering marvel might not be all that practical at the moment, but it might just lead to more innovative modes of transport sometime down the road.
