Casio has further expanded its Exilim family of digital cameras with the Card EX-S200 and Zoom EX-Z800 models, where both of them will fall under the ‘slim and svelte’ category thanks to its compact, stylish body design. The Exilim Engine 5.0 will be used in both models, while its Single Frame SR Zoom is capable of maintaining image quality through 1.5 times the range of the optical zoom, now how about that? The card-sized EX-S200 measures all of 0.6-inches at its thinnest segment, while the EX-Z800 is a wee bit larger, capable of fitting into the palm of your hand. Other shared specifications include a 27mm wide-angle view, 14.1-megapixel resolution and a 4x optical zoom lens. Expect the S200 and Z800 to retail for $179.99 and $149.99, respectively. The two models seem to be of the cookie cutter variety, making it all the more difficult for the beginner to choose from considering the plethora of entry-level digital cameras in the market at the moment.
