A concept beach ball solar energy generating system has surfaced, featuring photovoltaic panels contained within an inflatable clear latex material. When the beach ball is inflated, it will form a ball which is stabilized by the bottom cap and base station and will feature solar films weaved on a stretched membrane tilted at 25 degrees for maximum solar exposure. Each ball touts about 3sqm of photovoltaic cells, capable of generating about 200W of power. The energy generated is supplied to the base station buried under the ground, capable of converting electricity from DC to AC before transmitting it to the grid. During the night, these beach balls are illuminated by LED lighting installed on each base cap, giving you some additional lights during your late night trips.
