Asus Eee PC 1015PEM dual core netbook hits the US
The Asus Eee PC 1015PEM can be proud of itself by virtue of being the first 10-inch netbook from Asus that sports a 1.5GHz dual core Intel Atom N550 processor. Widely tipped to hit retailers today including Amazon and J&R, you won’t find the 1015PEM lacking in terms of next generation tech underneath the hood as we’re looking at USB 3.0 and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, as well as Wi-Fi N. DDR3 memory is also supported, while you can choose from either a 250GB or 320GB hard drive as your storage device of choice. The Eee PC 1015PEM-PU17 will set you back by $379, while the Eee PC 1015PEM-MU17 will be $30 cheaper since it ships with a lower capacity battery.
