Archos 101 Android Tablet Visits The FCC
The Archos 101 tablet that was
unveiled earlier this month is moving one step closer to being available at a store near you as the device has paid a visit to the
FCC, listed as the A10. The 8GB version should set you back $300, while the 16GB version will be going for $350. The Archos 101 is a tablet with some useful specifications, though the fact that it will rely on a third party AppsLib application marketplace instead of Google’s Android Market might hamper its capabilities somewhat. Specifications of the Archos 101 include:
- 10.1 LCD capacitive touchscreen display
- Front-facing VGA camera
- Wi-Fi b/g/n
- Bluetooth
- USB port
- HDMI output
- 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor
