We knew that Microsoft had some big plans for Xbox LIVE on Windows Phone 7 (WP7), and now the software giant has come out and announced 50 Xbox LIVE game titles that will be hitting WP7 this holiday season. There will be try-before-you-buy demos, Xbox LIVE leaderboards, turn-based multiplayer games, Achievements and more. The launch titles include games from Konami, Gameloft, Popcap, THQ, Digital Goldfish, Microsoft Game Studios, Glu Mobile, Carbonated Games and more. The full list of games that will be launched are available in the Microsoft press release. Will the Xbox LIVE on WP7 challenge the iPhone’s popularity? We’ll have to wait and see, won’t we?
